Torre Palazzone takes it's name from the Tower; built in the 11th century as a defensive outpost for neighbouring Siena. The Tower houses 3 bedrooms, a grand salon and the magnificent Duomo Suite on the ground floor, in the castle's former chapel.
The castle has been extended over the centuries to include the freshly renovated Corner House. Comprised of 3 beautifully appointed bedroom suites, a contemporary kitchen diner, office area with free wifi, and a sitting room with pool table and satellite tv.
Across the picturesque courtyard, the Farmhouse completes the accommodation, with a large kitchen, steamroom and a further 3 bedrooms.
Nestled within 40 acres of meadows and woodland, Torre Palazzone offers total seclusion and privacy. Landscaped gardens surround the tower, including fruit trees, an olive grove and an ancient Etruscan tomb.
Enjoy a hike in the nature reserve, bask on a sunlounger, or cool down with a refreshing dip in the pool. There are plenty of options for entertaining from the shady garden pergola with space for 16 diners, to the large piazza by the granary which is ideal for wedding ceremonies and large events.
